Prudential Thailand and AIS launch “PRUDengue” to offer affordable dengue fever insurance for AIS customers

Bangkok, Thailand, 15 October 2020 – Prudential Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited (“Prudential Thailand”) is partnering with AIS, a leading telecom operator in Thailand’s mobile network, to launch Prudential Thailand’s first digital insurance plan “PRUDengue” exclusively for AIS customers.

In response to the widespread of dengue fever, a mosquito-borne viral disease that has impacted nearly 1 million people in Thailand over the last 10 years[1], Prudential Thailand is rolling out PRUDengue, an all-round and affordable insurance plan to support the insured with a lump sum pay-out between THB 20,000 and THB 50,000 upon the diagnosis of dengue fever.

PRUDengue’s basic package with an annual premium at only THB 249 provides total benefits of up to THB 70,000, while its top package with an annual premium at THB 499 provides total benefits of THB 250,000. Applicants are not required to complete any health or income check for this plan.

AIS customers can purchase PRUDengue via Pulse by Prudential (Pulse), the innovative digital health app launched by Prudential Thailand in June this year. Download Pulse for free at https://www.wedopulse.com/th/  or on Apple App Store and Google Play Store to manage health and receive personal wellness services.
