Bangkok, Thailand, 29 June 2021 – Prudential Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited (“Prudential Thailand”) provides customers with extra peace of mind by offering Emergency SOS Assistance (SOS) provided by Assist America and Medical Second Opinion (MSO) services through MediGuide’s network.
The SOS and MSO services will be provided to valued customers of Prudential Thailand to help protect their health and wellbeing.
Available to customers who have valid HA Wealth and Health as charged Riders*, the SOS service provides round-the-clock worldwide emergency ambulance and prescription medicines assistance in coordination with hospitals.
Remote MSO provides essential ‘second opinions’ in relations to ongoing medical treatment for customers with HA Wealth Riders**. The service allows patients access to specialist consultations for complicated cases, while obviating the need for face-to-face diagnosis and/or treatment.
To access these services, customers are required to contact the call center and sign a consent form prior to the doctors’ review of the patient's medical records. The doctors will then provide a response with their opinions within 10 working days.

In Thailand, the SOS and MSO services are provided by a local partner of MediGuide. Prudential Thailand has no access to the customers' medical records in accordance with local regulations and data privacy guidelines.
*SOS service is provided to customers who have valid HA Wealth and Health as charged Riders including Health Super Strong, UOB Healthy Wealth, Flexi Care, Ultimate Care, and Perfect Care coverage.
**MSO service is provided to customers who have valid HA Wealth Riders including UOB Healthy Wealth, Flexi Care, Ultimate Care, and Perfect Care coverage.
