Mr. Bundit Jiamanukoonkit, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Thailand, participated as a speaker at the ASEAN Life Insurance Leadership Program (ALIP) 2026, joining a panel discussion on “Insurance for a Changing World: Reimagining Product Design through a Sustainable Lens.” The event was organized by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) to strengthen leadership capabilities within the life insurance industry and foster regional collaboration across ASEAN. The program was held at Nikko Bangkok Hotel.
During the discussion, Mr. Bundit shared key insights into the development of life insurance products and services that go beyond providing financial security. He emphasized the importance of integrating sustainability into product design to expand access to financial protection and create greater opportunities for people across society, particularly underserved and vulnerable groups who may have limited access to insurance coverage. As an example, he highlighted Prudential Thailand’s “Give the Future” initiative, which has been running for more than three years. The program aims to broaden access to protection by providing free personal accident insurance coverage to vulnerable groups, including outdoor staff, as well as workers in the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and public hospitals. To date, the initiative has extended protection to more than 80,000 individuals.
Prudential Thailand’s participation in ALIP 2026 underscores the company’s commitment to helping shape the future of the life insurance industry through meaningful and inclusive solutions that address the evolving needs of individuals, communities, and society. By promoting greater financial resilience and accessibility, Prudential Thailand continues to support people in navigating an increasingly dynamic and changing world.
