Prudential Thailand launches "PRUNO Worries Diabetes" insurance plan to provide protection for people with diabetes.

Prudential Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or "Prudential Thailand," has launched "PRUNo Worries Diabetes," a health insurance plan that provides comprehensive coverage specifically for people with diabetes. The plan is designed to provide coverage to medical care, medical treatment coverage for health complications from diabetes, as well as benefits for death, critical illness and cancer, up until the age of 70. Customers can opt to pay premiums on a monthly or an annual basis.

The launch of PRUNo Worries Diabetes reflects Prudential Thailand's commitment to making life insurance more accessible, more affordable and inclusive after finding out that the statistics of people with diabetes in Thailand are more than 4 million and projected to be 5.3 million in 2040[1], but only 2.6 million of them were provided with access to medical treatment. This insurance plan has been tailored to help Thai people gain access to medical services, especially for those suffering from diabetes. The roll-out of "PRUNo Worries Diabetes" on November 14 is also to mark World Diabetes Day and raise awareness about this critical disease, whose number of patients keeps rising in the present.

The "PRUNo Worries Diabetes" health insurance plan is suitable for people who are 30 to 65 years old with pre-diabetes or Type 2 diabetes. When diagnosed with diabetes or invasive cancer, this insurance plan will provide the policyholders with lump-sum coverage up to a maximum of 500,000 baht. The applicant requires no health examination; just answer some health-related questions. For more detailed information, please visit
